36 Days of Type 2021

This year I recieved a package which contained a load of packaging peanuts, they all spilled on the floor and while picking them up I started to notice shapes and letters being formed. This created the idea for this project.

By using the peanuts as my building blocks, I laid them out, took photos and recreated them in procreate. Upon completing the 36 characters, I decided I wanted to take this a step further. After seeing the letters form on my floor, I began to see scenarios in my recreated drawings and thought I would see where they could go.

I learned a lot from this challenge, from the restraints like the use of a limited colour palette and consistency of the peanuts, to the freedom of imagination and exploring my visions.
