Undun Rebrand
Undun is a unisex clothing brand focused on reworking vintage clothes and offering alterartions and repairs. Along with that, Undun has it’s own personal collection of clothes made with planet friendly fabrics. Laura’s brand values are; quality, versatile, innovative and honest.
The logo represents 2 stiches being separated by a needle with a clean, sharp look
to represent professionalism and quality. The form of this logo is versatile and can be used as a stand alone ident or as a patern. This is an ongoing project which is being developed into ‘how to care for’ labels, tags, social animations and website assets.
Yanka Skincare and Scents
Yanka is a Scottish brand of handcrafted natural skincare, home fragrances and scents.
The products range from candles, to skincare such as creams and gels, to car and reed diffusers.
“Focusing on effectiveness and simplicity the range harnesses
the potency of nature's innate healing properties and elegance
of its natural soothing fragrances.“
The logo needed to be clear and sophisticated, with the target audience being females around the 30 - 50 age bracket. The logo also needed to relate back to nature which led to the creation of the brand mark (bottom right). After designing the logo, I went on to design the labels for all Yanka’s products.
JasmineKnits
Logo for Jasmine’s Luxury knitwear company, handmade in Scotland. The J and K
are brought together with a stitch to represent her practice. The colours work along side the colours she uses in her knitting. The logo can be stacked to for a knit-like pattern which can be incorporated into designs as borders.
The initial inspiration for this design came from Celtic typography, also known as
Gaelic type. This was to create a link to Scotland within the logo while also making
use of the recognizable wide shapely form of the letters. Jasmine highlighted that
she wanted her logo to be simple and easy to read while still having a playful and colourful edge. This logo will be applied to clothing labels, How to Care For labels,
stamp stickers and business cards.
